F-01 Ayaka
Ayaka is 11 years old. Ayaka likes origami, dancing, riding unicycles, jump ropes, and drawing. She also enjoys writing, video games, and singing. She is sociable, friendly, laughs a lot, and generous. She is interested in learning about the American culture. She is also interested in cooking with her host family.
F-02 Wakana
She is 14 years old. Wakano likes to play sports, go out with friends, watch animation and movies, read books, listen to music, eat delicious food, and play board games! She is cheerful, tolerant, serious, patient, honest, and friendly. Wakano wants to come to Utah to experience things that she can’t do in Japan. She would like to go out somewhere with her host family, such as, national parks, watching games, shopping, etc. She would like to make friends here and teach her host family some of her Japanese culture.
F-03 Sakura
Sakura is 12 years old. She likes trying new foods, movies, watching baseball, animals, camping, computers, painting/drawing, museums, video games, outdoors, shopping, and more! Sakura is friendly, laughs a lot, generous, shy, patient, and cheerful. She is interested in coming to Utah because her mom (UTREK chaperone) showed her photos of her homestay and it make Sakura want to come to Utah. Saukura is very interested in American food culture and would like to know the interests of kids her age.
F-05 Ayana
She is 16 years old. Ayana likes dancing, reading Harry Potter, and being outdoors. She also likes movies, watching tv, painting/drawing, and singing. She is sociable, talkative, friendly, responsible, and laughs a lot. Ayana is interested in interacting with people from other countries, broaden her horizons, and connect the experiences to her future. She hopes to try many new things, communicate with her host family, and enjoy every moment.
